Digital Web Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced SEO Team Lead to join our dynamic Smegoweb team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of SEO Analysts and Executives, guiding them to achieve critical business objectives. You will oversee the development of comprehensive project plans, meticulously monitor progress, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality SEO initiatives. Your leadership will extend to making informed decisions regarding the daily operations of your team members, including the effective assignment and management of their workloads. As the primary point of contact for our valued clients, you will cultivate strong relationships and ensure their SEO strategies are executed flawlessly, including performing and ensuring the completion of quality review checks on all outgoing work.
The core focus of this position is to drive exceptional SEO performance for our clients by fostering a high-achieving team environment. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced SEO strategies, with a particular emphasis on managing large enterprise or eCommerce websites. Your ability to identify and resolve complex SEO challenges will be crucial, as will your skill in organizing, managing, and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. We are looking for a leader who can not only guide technical SEO execution but also inspire and develop the analytical and executive talent within the team, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in SEO and broader digital marketing. A proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of SEO professionals is essential. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of managing SEO for large-scale websites, particularly within the enterprise and eCommerce sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are paramount, enabling you to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders. We seek an individual with a keen ability to identify and proactively resolve problems, coupled with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is also expected.
